Must Have:
- 2-4 years Cath Lab Experience
- 1 year CT Experience

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Completion of a Radiologic Technology program from an accredited institution.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Possess certification in either Basic or Advanced Life Support.
- Must hold a current or temporary license issued by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
- Be registered as a Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R).
Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
- Capable of assisting in lifting and maneuvering patients as part of job responsibilities.

- Principal Accountabilities
- Conducts specialized and invasive radiology procedures on patients, ensuring strict adherence to radiation safety protocols. This involves preparing patients for the examination, explaining the procedure, administering contrast agents when necessary, positioning patients correctly, selecting appropriate imaging techniques, and ensuring the technical quality of the images.
- Records and monitors patient data throughout the process.
- Performs quality assurance checks on radiology equipment. May provide assistance in both initial and renewal applications for accreditation from organizations like the ACR.
- Identifies and promptly reports any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to the department's management.
- Participates in on-call emergency duties within the department as needed.
- Ensures the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors, while adhering to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards. This includes managing time effectively, overseeing supplies, maintaining productivity, and delivering high-quality service within budgetary limits.
- Fosters personal professional development by meeting mandatory/continuing education requirements and ensuring skills competency. Contributes to departmental goals that support the overall success of the organization, serving as a preceptor, mentor, and resource to less experienced staff members.
- Performs any other duties as assigned.
