Job Description
Are you a strong, compassionate nurse leader with a passion for maternal care? We’re seeking a Registered Nurse Manager to lead our Labor and Delivery and Postnatal Units in delivering exceptional, family-centered care.
As our L&D Nurse Manager, you’ll:
- Lead and coordinate Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn Nursery departments
- Manage daily operations, staffing (27 FTEs), and regulatory compliance (TJC, AHCA, CMS, etc.)
- Support up to 1, 500 annual births and a 20-bed Postpartum unit
- Collaborate with hospital administration to align clinical performance and financial goals
- Mentor and manage team performance while fostering a culture of safety and excellence
What You Bring:
- Current Florida RN license or Compact Licensure (as per state guidelines)
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Minimum 1 year of L&D Nurse Manager experience
- Certifications (can be completed after hire if not current):
- BLS & ACLS (within 30 days)
- NRP (within 90 days)
- STABLE & Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or Advanced) (within 60 months)
