Director of Materials Management
Location:
New Mexico
The Hospital is seeking an experienced professional to lead its Materials Management department in ensuring efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations for our acute care hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee procurement, inventory management, and distribution of medical supplies and equipment
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain processes and reduce costs
- Manage GPO vendor relationships and negotiate contracts
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative departments to meet supply needs
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare supply chain management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency in inventory management software and data analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA)
- Acute care hospital experience
- CMRP
